From January 1, 2022, Kazakhstan resumed visa-free regime for citizens of 54 countries.

From July 7, 2022, Kazakhstan opened a visa-free regime for citizens of India, Iran and China. Visa-free regime for citizens of these countries is introduced unilaterally.

According to the new regulation, citizens of India, Iran and China will be able to enter and stay in Kazakhstan without visa for up to 14 calendar days from the moment of border crossing for business, personal and tourist purposes.


CONDITIONS OF ENTRY INTO THE COUNTRY

From June 8, 2022, Kazakhstan canceled mandatory requirement on provision of the vaccination passport and PCR certificate with a negative result for Covid while crossing the border.


IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Total period of stay in Kazakhstan under visa-free regime should not exceed 42 calendar days within a 180-day period.
Violation of conditions for entry, exit and stay under visa-free regime may result in fines and sanctions, including deportation from the country and a 5-year ban on entry to the Republic of Kazakhstan.
