ALMATY – SHYMBULAK MOUNTAIN RESORT

- Transfer to Medeu Gorge (25 km from the city).
- The world's largest high-mountain sports complex "Medeu" is located in the eponymous tract of the Zailiysky Alatau near Almaty at an altitude of about 1700 meters above sea level. The dam of the same name, built in the late 1960s and located south of the ice rink, protects the Medeu from the destructive impact of mudflows. A special reservoir allows you to keep here about 6 million cubic meters of water, and on the stairs leading to the dam and consisting of 842 steps, speed climbing competitions are regularly held.
- From Medeu Gorge guests take a cable car (total length is 6200 m) to Shymbulak mountain resort. Guests will get to Talgar Peak by cable car (the highest peak of Shymbulak; 3200 m above sea level).
- World – class all-season resort Shymbulak mountain resort is located in the Small Almaty Gorge 2260m above sea level. Shymbulak is considered to be the best mountain resort in Central Asia and it’s a starting point for mountain trails of all sorts.Here you will find yourself in a cool subarctic mountain climate. It’s very close to the eternal snows and glaciers from Talgar pass.

VISIT BIG ALMATY LAKE

- Enjoy the view at Big Almaty Lake. The alpine lake is held by a powerful natural dam, which is overgrown with coniferous forests. In good weather, you will be amazed by the snow-covered peaks reaching the height of more than 4000 meters. If you are lucky, you will see 4317 meters high peak of the Sovet – one of the highest peaks located near the city of Almaty.Big Almaty lake is the of the Almaty city and one of the most beautiful mountain lakes in region. When you stand there and admire all the beauty of the milky-turquoise lake you start feeling there is so much to see on our amazing planet!

Payment:
Payment to be made not less than 30 days prior to tourist group arrival at our bank account as per received invoice or by credit card.
Cancellation fees:
- Cancellation prior 30 days – no charges apply
- Cancellation prior 20 days – 50% charge of the total price
- Cancellation prior 10 days – 100% charge of the total price
